The Defender Foundation is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Each chapter operates on a Force Multiplication concept of training personnel to fight the problem in their backyard while supporting the organization as a whole in an “all for one, and one for all” concept. Each chapter is not a franchise but a branch of The Defender Foundation that can pull internal resources from across the nation in this fight. When overseas missions are organized, all chapters can contribute personnel and resources for the mission, be it a full Shield Team operation or a good-will operation for shelter support by our chapter volunteers. The Defender Foundation is not about putting a dot on the map to say, “We are there.” We exist to not only fight; but to fight effectively. Please join us in this fight; it isn’t about one organization or another; there is no competition here – not for resources, volunteers, nor accolades. This is about communities, groups, and individuals coming together to take back the precious ones who have been stolen from within our midst.
Ready for your Knight Job?

Come one, come all! Bring your DD-214′s, your CQB Certificates, CJSTC Diplomas, you get the idea.
This meeting is also open to spouses, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc. This meeting is a look into the world of the Shield Teams for those who think they might have what it takes to be part of The Defender Foundation rescue teams. The framework will be made up of men and women like you who will donate their time, their level of community engagement, financial support and leadership to further the mission and purpose of The Defender Foundation. But one person cannot do it alone. We need an army! Together we can abolish slavery! The modern-day slave trade is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, enslaving more than 30 million individuals today. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, “After drug dealing, trafficking of humans is tied with arms dealing as the second-largest criminal industry in the world.”Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings, mainly for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor. As the world’s fastest growing criminal industry, it affects every nation across the globe. Every thirty seconds, someone is forced into this type of bondage—modern slavery.
